It’s a new year at Royal Holloway, and The Scientists’ Scribe has a brand new look! Welcome Week is well underway and our editorial team has had their work cut out getting to all the Freshers’ events and promoting the Scribe. We’re aiming to expand significantly this year, and the launch of this website is just a small part of it. We’re on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat, and we’ll continue to produce the paper magazine.
The Bourne Foyer has had a facelift over the summer and the Scribe’s new look is going to reflect the cutting-edge research and education in the department. We’re introducing a Careers section to help bioscience students decide where they want their degrees to take them. We’ll continue to feature articles written by students, and keep you up to date on what’s going on in the science world.
We’re always looking for more contributors, whether you’re a science student or working in the field of science – we welcome articles from everyone! Contact us via Facebook or email to find out more about how to submit articles. And remember, if you’re a Royal Holloway student you’ll get Passport Points for writing for us!
We’re also looking to increase our funds and gain sponsorship. We can offer space in the magazine and on our social media pages for advertising sponsors, and we’d love it if local businesses would like to sponsor our events. We can bring your business to thousands of students and even further!
Stay tuned for more!
